MRS. HALL DIES AT 89.

Funeral services were held in the Evenson Chapel for Mrs. (Jennie) Ma y Hall, well-known Thorp and Ellensburg resident for many years. The R ev. Paul Nance conducted the service and Mrs. Hall was buried besid e he r husband, Orie C. Hall in the IOOF cemetery. He preceded her i n d eat h in June 1948. Mrs. Hall would have been 89 years of age to m orro w. She was buried on her husband's birthday.
May Brown was born Feb. 18, 1875, in Rockford, Ill., and married to O r ie C. Hall, Oct. 31, 1893 at Concordia, Kan. They moved from there t o Seattle in 1901 and to the Thorp area in 1910. They farmed there u n til 1922 when they moved to Wenatchee and Mr. Hall worked as a cu s t odi an in one of the Wenatchee schools until 1937 when they retur n e d t o Th orp. Mrs. Hall had resided in Ellensburg two years befor e e n t e rin g th e Bernath Nursing Home three and a half years ago . Sh e w a s a mem ber t o the Thorp Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wilfred C. Hall, Toppenish; Frank L. Ha l l, Auburn and Verbal R. Hall, Edmonds; and one daughter, Mrs. Clare n c e (Addie) Hartman of Ellensburg; six grandchildren; and 14 greatg r a nd children. A brother, Frank L. Clayton of Concordia, Kansas.al s o s urv ives.
