DEATH COMES TO GLADYS ANN STARK
Mrs. Gladys Ann Stark, 58, died this morning at the home of a son, Do n ald Hall, Route 1, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Stark was a writer of poetry and fiction. She conducted a colum n in the Seattle Star for many years and contributed to many magazine s .
The daughter of Lewis and Annie Buell, she was born October 14, 1888, a t Anoka, Minn. Most of her adult life was spent in Seattle. She h a d made her home here for the past several months.
Also surviving are two other sons, Lewis Hall of Eastport, Idaho, and F rederic Hall of Central Point, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Pritcha r d of La Grange, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Marie Kirkpatrick, who has liv e dh er e during Mrs. Stark's illness; a brother, Harry Buell of Oakl a nd , C al. ; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sever a l nie cesa nd nephews, including Mrs. Esther Baker of Ellensburg.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Buried in Lake View Cem e tery,Seattle Wash.
